About Osho Active Meditations

If you want to live a more fulfilled life, first you will want to know your potential, who you really are. Meditation is the methodology of the science of awareness.
Many meditative techniques require one to sit still & silent. But for most of us accumulated stress in our bodymind makes that difficult. To let go of our tensions Osho Active Meditations have been scientifically designed to consciously express and experience repressed feelings and emotions to learn the knack of watching our habitual patterns in a new way.

Good to know:

  • The first 10 minutes of each meditation is for instructions.
  • All Meditations start on time and it is not possible to join in late.
  • Bring your own food (refrigeration is available).
  • Coffee and teas and water are free.

  • Final Day:
    On Sunday, June 17 breakfast and sharing with all participants is complementary at about 10:00am.
  • If you do choose to sign up for one or two weeks, your commitment is for seven/fourteen consecutive days as listed further down.
  • We highly recommend you to participate in all meditations for 2 weeks. They were designed by Osho to be done in combination and have the power to trigger a significant energetic shift for the rest of your life.
  • Registration will be closed 3 days prior to starting day!

OSHO DYNAMIC MEDITATION™
Recommended to be done in the morning, this hour-long intense method is a powerful way to kick-start your day. It provides an outlet for tension and withheld emotions in witnessing presence. A great energy-booster!

 

OSHO VIPASSANA MEDITATION
Sitting silently, the essence of Vipassana is to watch and accept whatever is happening. Nothing is a disturbance; it includes everything, such as thoughts, judgments, feelings, body sensations, and impressions from the outside world. The process of watching is the essence, not so much what is watched.

OSHO KUNDALINI MEDITATION™
Known as the “sister meditation” to Dynamic, with four stages of fifteen minutes each this method is a gentle yet effective way to release all the accumulated stress of your day in a relaxed, gentle and celebrative way.

 

OSHO NATARAJ MEDITATION
Dance, giving it all you have got, is an easy and natural way to turn in. This method has three stages, and lasts a total of sixty-five minutes.

 

OSHO NADABRAHMA MEDITATION
A sitting method, that is one-hour long, in which humming and hand movements create an inner balance and stillness.

 

OSHO DISCOURSES
Osho discourses are keys to understanding silence. Talking is used to provide an experience of listening, not to gain knowledge but to directly experience one’s own center of stillness and relaxation. The words are secondary, just to create gaps. The  silences between the words are primary to get a glimpse of meditation.

 

OSHO Reminding Yourself of the Forgotten Language of Talking to Your BodyMind
Using hypnosis, you first reconnect with your body-mind, making friends with it. Then you start a healing process by communicating with your unconscious in deep relaxation. It is for anything in the body or mind that is out of natural balance.

 

Self-Hypnosis for Meditation
Self-hypnosis is one of the most important tools for spiritual growth.
You can use it in many areas of life: deepen your silence in meditation, for healing, be more relaxed, playful amid the speed and tension of the market place.

 

Laughing Meditation
Either you can laugh or you can think. if you really laugh, thinking stops, the mind disappears. Dancing and laughter are the best, natural, easily approachable doors. It can be a beautiful introduction to a non-thinking state.

What to bring:

Most of all yourself and comfortable clothes. Many meditations are very intense, Dynamic involves jumping, so you may bring a towel to take a shower, as well as extra clothes. Indoor slippers as the floor may be cold. For the workshop you may bring your own food. The lake is very close by, swim if you like.

Stay Over Night:

We have rooms available for rent in the same premises for out of town guests to join the meditation intensive program. Prices vary between $13 and $25 per person. Please call or email for information and reservation.

Payments:

Although we usually offer installment payments for our retreats, the three-week OSHO Meditation Intensive has to be paid in full in order to participate. (Registration closes 3 days prior to June 3).
Cancellations up to a week prior June 3 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee.
Cancellations thereafter will not be refunded but the payment can be applied to other meditation events at the IMU (except for marked “Guest-Events) within one year.
